Teriyaki Beef Fondue

Ingredients

  • Marinade:
  • 3 tbs Soy Sauce
  • 2 tsp Ginger Root (minced)
  • 1 tbs Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tbs Honey
  • 1 tbs Water
  • 1 clove Garlic (minced)
  • 1 lb Beef Tenderloin (sliced into strips)
  • Broth:
  • 5 cups Beef Broth (or 2 cans of Beef Broth and 2 cans of Water)
  • 1/3 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbs Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbs Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tbs Sake
  • 2 clove Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbs Ginger Root (minced)

Directions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together Soy Sauce, Oil, Water, Honey, Ginger and garlic.

  2. Add beef strips to bowl and cover. Refrigerate for at least an hour.

  3. In Fondue Pot or large saucepan, combine Beef Broth, Soy Sauce, Brown Sugar, Vinegar, Sake, Garlic and Ginger and bring to a boil.

  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

  5. Spear Beef strips and cook in broth for 3 to 5 minutes.
