Milk Chocolate Frosting

Ingredients

  • 3 c confectioners' sugar
  • Dash of salt
  • 2/3 c unsweetened natural cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 c unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 t vanilla
  • 1/4 c + 2 T whole milk

Directions

  1. Sift together confectioners’ sugar, salt and cocoa powder.

  2. Using a mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, cream the butter until smooth.

  3. On low speed, slowly add the chocolate mixture.

  4. Pour in the vanilla and the milk, a little at a time, until the frosting reaches a creamy consistency.
