Chili w/chocolate

Serves 2 people
Ingredients
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup green peppers, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup celery, dices
- 1/2 oz unsweetened chocolate
- 1 8-oz can tomato sauce
- 1 lb canned stewed tomatoes
- 1 tbs sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp chili powder (or less)
- 1 lb canned kidney beans
Directions

Brown beef in oil, then add onions and green peppers. Saute until onions are transparent.

Add remaining ingredients, cover pan, and bring to a quick boil. Lower heat and simmer slowly for 30 minutes.

For double and triple recipes: Brown meat in a very large skillet. Heat oil and then add meat. Meanwhile, combine all other ingredients, EXCEPT onions, peppers, and the kidney beans, and heat in a very large kettle. When meat is brown add onions and peppers. Saute until the onions become transparent then add to heated tomato mixture. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

Separate the amount for immediate use and add appropriate amount of beans to this. Cool and freeze rest. Add beans when reheating
