Ingredients
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp finely chopped pecans
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp hot sauce
- 4 (app. 6oz each) tilapia or red snapper filets
- 3 tbsp flour
Directions

Combine the first 5 ingredients in a shallow dish.

Combine milk and hot sauce in a shallow dish.

In non-stick skillet, heat 1 1/2 tsps of oil or more if needed.

Dredge each filet in flour, then dip in buttermilk and then bread crumbs.

Cook in oil about 3 minutes on each side.
