Beef Tenderloin

Ingredients

  • 1 beef tenderloin, cleaned and skin removed
  • 2 tbl worcestershire sauce
  • Lawry's seasoned pepper
  • pats of butter
  • kitchen twine
  • Horseradish sauce:
  • 2 c. Sour cream
  • 4 tbl grated Horseradish
  • squeeze of lemon

Directions

  1. Let come to room temperature, about an hour.

  2. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Combine sour cream, horseradish and lemon juice. Refrigerate.

  3. Season beef with pepper and top with pats of butter and worcestershire sauce.

  4. ast for 15 minutes and then lower heat to 350 and cook additional 25 minutes, internal temperature of 135. Remove and let stand 10 minutes before slicing.

  5. Serve with horseradish sauce.
