Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 16oz can of pumpkin (or 2 cups fresh)
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 (12 fl. oz) can evaporated milk
  • 9" high-sided pie shell

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 425F

  2. Mix filling ingredients in order given

  3. Pour into shell

  4. Bake 15 minutes

  5. Reduce heat to 350F, continue baking for 45 minutes or until knife near center comes out clean

  6. Cool completely, garnish (optional)
