Ingredients
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup butter/margarine softened
- 2 cups flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
Directions

Cream sugars, egg, and butter.

Add dry ingredients and mix.

Chill for 2 hours or overnight.

Roll into 2 inch balls and roll in sugar.

With a glass, flatten balls, sprinkle with sugar and bake at 350 degrees 8-10 minutes.
