Ingredients
- 1 cup chicken breast meat, diced
- 1 tablespoon butter or margerine
- 2/3 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 5 chicken bouillon cubes
- 5 1/2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
- 1/8 teaspoon thyme, grounded
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt
- White Pepper
- 1/2 pound tortellini, cooked according to package directions
Directions

In a 3-quart saucepan, melt butter or margerine.

Add carrots and saute 2 to 3 minutes.

Add diced chicken meat and cook another 5 minutes until chicken is done.

Add celery and onions and continue to cook another 4 to 5 minutes.

Dissolve chicken bouillon cubes in water adn add to soup with all remaining ingredients except tortellini.

Simmer soup until all vegetables are tender.

Add salt and pepper to taste.

Add cooked tortellini and serve.
