Caraway Pork Roast

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. crushed garlic
  • 2 1/2 lb. pork roast, fat trimmed
  • 1 16 oz. can sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 tsp. caraway seeds
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 apples
  • 8 oz. egg noodles

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients except water, apples, and noodles in bag and seal well.

  2. Freeze.

  3. Thaw and put into Crock-Pot.

  4. Add water, cover, and turn on low for 6-8 hours.

  5. Shred meat in the sauce and serve.

  6. Grate the apples and put on top of cooked meat. Serve over noodles.
