Pork Chops with Apples

Prep time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 40 minutes
Serves 4 people
Ingredients
- 4 lean boneless center cut pork chops
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- Vegetable cooking spray
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1 teaspoon chicken flavored bouillon granules (or prepared chicken stock)
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 medium cooking apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions

Cook pork chops and onions in a large skillet coated with cooking spray over medium heat until pork is lightly browned.

Combine water, bouillon granules and pepper stirring until granules dissolve; add to skillet.

Cover and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes.

Skim off fat.

Add apple slices and cinammon to skillet.

Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until pork is tender.
