Pot Roast

Ingredients

  • roast
  • vegetable oil
  • carrots
  • potatoes

Directions

  1. Brown roast on both sides in oil. Add water, cover, and cook until tender over low heat. After about an hour, put on carrots that have been peeled and pared. Ten minutes later, put on potatoes that have been peeled and pared.

  2. Remove vegetables and meat, and make gravy.
