Chocolate Mint Brownies

Ingredients
- Cake Layer:
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1-1/2 cups Hershey's syrup (16 ounce can)
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- Mint Cream Center:
- 2 cups confectioners sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 Tablespoon water
- 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon mint extract
- 3 drops green food coloring (optional)
- Chocolate Topping:
- 6 Tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Cake Layer: Heat over to 350°.

Grease 13 × 9 x2 in pan.

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, butter, eggs and syrup; beat until smooth.

Pour into prepared pan, bake 25-30 min or until top springs back when lightly touched.

Cool completely in pan.

Mint Cream Center: In a small bowl, combine all ingredients and beat until smooth.

Chocolate Topping: In a small saucepan, over very low heat, melt butter and chocolate chips.

Remove from heat; stir until smooth.

Cool slightly.

Spread Mint Cream Center on cake; cover and chill.

Pour Chocolate Topping over chilled dessert.

Cover and chill at least 1 hour before serving.
