Impossibly Easy Cherry-Almond Pie

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Original Bisquick
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons margarine or butter, softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 cup Original Bisquick
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons firm margarine or butter
  • Slivered almonds, toasted, if desired

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Grease pie plate, 9 × 1 1/4 inches.

  3. Stir Bisquick, sugar, milk, softened margarine, almond extract, eggs until blended. Pour into pie plate.

  4. Spoon pie filling over top.

  5. Bake 30 minutes.

  6. Mix Bisquick, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

  7. Cut in margarine, using fork or pastry blender, until mixture is crumbly.

  8. Sprinkle Brown Sugar Streusel over pie filling.

  9. Bake about 10 minutes or until streusel is golden brown; cool.

  10. Sprinkle with almonds.
