DILL CHICKEN

My guys like this a lot; I tolerate it.

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 60 minutes
Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 7 or 8 chicken breasts / thighs
  • 2 cans cream-of-mushroom soup
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp dill
  • paprika

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Trim chicken, and cut into pieces – either bite size or just chunks. Put chicken into a baking dish.

  3. Combine soups, sour cream, and lemon juice in a large bowl.

  4. Put dill into the palm of your hand and crush with your opposite thumb, using a circular motion. Do this over the mixing bowl, letting the dill drop in. Stir well. Pour over chicken pieces.

  5. Sprinkle with paprika.

  6. Bake uncovered for an hour or until chicken is cooked.

  7. Serve over rice or egg noodles. We usually have a side of broccoli with this meal.
