Sweet Tender Steak

Cook time: 10 minutes
Serves 3 people

Ingredients

  • 1 2-lb. beef top round steak or similar cut
  • 1/4 C. soy sauce
  • 1/4 C. water
  • 1/4 C. sugar
  • 1/4 C. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder

Directions

  1. Whisk all ingredients but steak in an air tight container, add steak, refrigerate for at least an hour, but no more than 8 hours.

  2. Heat a large pan on high with a drop of olive oil, place steak in pan. Disgard marinade. Allow steak to cook on one side for about five minutes. Flip carefully to the other side. Turn heat down to medium-high and cook an additional five minutes or until steak is nearly the desired temperature.
