Ingredients
- 1 large bunch broccoli
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 large potatoes, diced, peeled
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4 cups stock or water
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 4 cups milk or evaporated milk
- salt and pepper
Directions

Chop up broccoli, combine with onions, potatoes, garlic, stock, thyme, pepper, and nutmeg in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, the reduce heat and simmer until broccoli is tender.

Puree soup with stick blender, then add milk and heat, do not allow to boil. Salt and pepper to taste.
