Cherry-Orange Delight

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 3 packages (4 serving size each) Jell-o Brand Cherry Flavor Gelatin
  • 2 3/4 cups cold water
  • 1 can (15 ounces) Dole Mandarin Orange Segments, drained
  • 4 ounces (1/2 of 8 ounce package) Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tub (8 ounces) Cool Whip Whipped Topping, thawed

Directions

  1. Stir boiling water into gelatin in medium bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved.

  2. Stir in cold water.

  3. Refrigerate about 1 1/4 hours or until slightly thickened (consistency of unbeaten egg whites). Reserve a few orange segments for garnish.

  4. Gently stir remaining orange segments into gelatin; set aside.

  5. Beat cream cheese and sugar in separate medium bowl with wire whisk until well blended.’

  6. Stir in whipped topping.

  7. Spoon into 2 1/2 quart serving bowl; cover with gelatin mixture.

  8. Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.

  9. Garnish with reserved orange segments.
