Turkey Tetrazzini

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Spaghetti
  • 4 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can (10.75 ounces) cream of mushroom soup, plus 1 can milk
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 4 cups cooked turkey, cubed
  • 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 cup dried bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Prepare pasta according to package directions.

  2. Meanwhile, in a Dutch oven over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter.

  3. Add onion and cook until tender, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Add soup, milk, broth, and cheese.

  5. Stir until smooth and cook until the cheese melts.

  6. Add the cooked spaghetti, turkey, and peas and mix well.

  7. Transfer pasta mixture into a 2-quart baking dish.

  8. Sprinkle the top with the bread crumbs and dot with the remaining butter.

  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until the dish is bubbly and lightly browned on top.
