Enchilada Sauce

Used for Enchiladas, Flautas, make 1/2 recipe for Flautas

Ingredients

  • 3 Tb Canola oil
  • 2 Tb Chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 2 Tb Corn Starch
  • 2 cups water

Directions

  1. Heat oil, add chili powder & garlic salt.

  2. Add Corn starch & stir. Cook a little – some browning here adds to the flavor.

  3. Add water a little at a time while stirring. Mixture will thicken. Add more or less water for thicker or thinner sauce.
