Blueberry Sauce

You can use this for pancakes or cheesecake!

Cook time: 10 minutes
Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 1/3 C sugar
  • 1 T cornstarch
  • 2 C fresh or frozen & thawed blueberries
  • 2 T lemon juice
  • 1/3 C- 1/2 C water

Directions

  1. In a pan, combine sugar and cornstarch.

  2. Add blueberries, lemon juice , and water.

  3. Cook, stirring, over medium heat until mixture is thickened.

  4. May wish to mash berries and increase water to 1/2 C for syrup.

  5. Serve warm or cold. Makes about 2 C. Can change fruit for different syrups.
