Ingredients
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 5 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 Tbsp. yeast
- 1 c. milk, scalded and cooled
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 grated orange rind
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 6 Tbsp. soft butter
Directions

Mix first four ingredients together. Add yeast, then liquids and salt. Let rise in warm place 1 1/2 hours.

Make paste of orange rind, 1/2 c. sugar, and soft butter.

Roll out dough and spread with paste. Roll up like jelly roll and cut into 1-inch slices. Place in muffin tins. Let rise 1 1/2 hours.

Bake at 400 for 10 minutes. Makes 25 rolls.
