Black Beans and rice

Accessory to Chicken Picadillo

Serves 4 people
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 3/4 cup long grain rice
- 1 can black beans
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 tsp salt
Directions

Bring chicken broth to boil in medium saucepan, add rice. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 18 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.

Stir in rinsed and drained beans and cilantro. Cook until thoroughly heated. Stir in salt.
