George Duran’s Deep Fry Batter

can fry eggs, frozen white castle burgers, and chocolate chip cookie dough.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup seltzer water or club soda

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk the flour, sugar and baking powder. Add the egg and half the seltzer and whisk to combine. Add more seltzer ad needed until the batter is the consistency of heavy cream.
