Ingredients
- 2 large egg whites
- 1 large egg
- 3/4 cup low-fat milk
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- salt
- 2 tsp butter
- 8 slices whole wheat bread
- Optional: maple syrup, fresh blueberries
Directions

Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Best egg whites, egg, milk, vanilla, and 1/8 teaspoon salt. In 12-inch non-stick skillet, melt 1 teaspoon margarine on medium.

Dip bread slices, 1 at a time, in egg mixture, pressing bread lightly. Place 3-4 slices in skillet and cook 6-8 minutes.

Transfer french toast to cookie sheet. Keep warm in oven. Repeat w/ remaining margarine, bread slices, and egg mixture.
