Cinco de Mayo pizza

Ingredients

  • Pizza Dough
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 lb chorizo
  • 3/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 4 slices smoked bacon, chopped to bite size pieces and fried
  • 2 jalapeños thinly sliced lengthwise and seeded

Directions

  1. Place the dough on a pizza pan sprinkled corn meal. Top with sauce, cheese chorizo, bacon and jalapeños. (For safety, the raw chorizo must be on top of the cheese, not under it.) Bake at 400° F. until the crust is light brown and the cheese is melted.
