Beef and Cheese Sandwich with Au Jus

Ingredients

  • 1 can Roast Beef (drain and reserve broth)
  • 2 4 inch Kaiser rolls, sliced
  • Creamy horseradish or stone ground mustard (choose one)
  • Sliced Provolone cheese
  • Au Jus flavoring (found in Costco spice aisle)

Directions

  1. Prepare Au Jus according to package directions, using the drained broth as part of the needed water.

  2. Mash the drained Roast Beef with a fork.

  3. Spread horseradish or mustard on sliced Kaiser rolls.

  4. Place shredded beef on the two rolls and add 1 or 2 slices of Provolone cheese on top of each.

  5. Place sandwiches on a plate, cover with a damp paper towel, and microwave for two minutes to warm the beef and melt the cheese.

  6. Cut the sandwiches into quarters and serve with hot Au Jus for dipping.
