Golden Teriyaki Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 4 lb. chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 3/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce, bottled

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400° F. Rinse the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels. Place in a roasting pan. Drizzle with 1/4 cup bottled teriyaki sauce, the salt and 1/2 teaspoon of the pepper; turn to coat. Roast the chicken for 30 minutes. Drizzle with 1/4 cup additional teriyaki sauce and cook for 15 minutes more. Serve with cooked rice.
