Ingredients

• 1 c. flour
• 1/2 c. butter
• 1/4 c. conf. sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 c. grandulated sugar
• 1/4 tsp. baking powder
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 2 Tbsp. lemon juice

Directions

1. Heat oven to 350

2. Sift four

3. Blend flour, butter, and conf. sugar thoroughly

4. Press evenly in 8 × 8 × 2 pan

5. Bake 20 minutes

6. Beat rest of ingredients together

7. Pour over crust

8. Bake 20 – 25 minutes

9. Do not over bake

10. Dust with conf. sugar

11. (Makes 12 squares)
