Balsamic Beef with Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • Vegetable Cooking Spray
  • 2 lbs. boneless beef chuck roast 1" thick
  • 2 2/3 c. Prego Traditional Italian Sauce
  • 1/3 c. balsamic vinegar
  • 2 pkg. (8 oz. each) sliced mushrooms
  • 1 slice bacon cooked and cumbled
  • Cooked egg noodles

Directions

  1. Pray 10" skillet with cooking spray

  2. Heat over medium high heat for 1 minute

  3. Add beef

  4. Cook for 6 minutes, turning it halfway through cooking

  5. Stir the sauce, vinegar, mushrooms and bacon in a 5 quart slow cooker

  6. Add beef and turn to coat

  7. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 (or high 4 to 5) hours or until beef is fork tender

  8. Serve with the egg noodles
