Ingredients
- 1 cup wheat
- 2 cups water
Directions

Bring wheat to boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer between 1 to 1 hour 15 minutes.

Drain and add the following: 8 ounce can crushed pineapple, drained

1/2 cup craisins

1/3 cup walnut pieces

2 tablespoons sunflower seeds, dry roasted, unsalted

Consider adding some of the following:

Apples, raisins, celery, green onions, grated carrot, cinnamon, olive oil and/or Balsamic vinegar…. Be creative!

Note: 1 cup dry wheat makes 2 cups boiled wheat.
