Ingredients
- 3-4 Lbs. Lean Beef Short Ribs
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 medium onions
- 1 clove garlic (optional)
- 1 c. beef broth
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 3 Tbsp. water
Directions

Slice onions and separate into rings

Place short ribs on broiler rack or in skillet and brown to remove fat

Drain well

Combine 2 c. flour with the papricka, salt and dryh mustard

toss with short ribs

Place remaining ingredients except 2 Tbsp. floujr and the water in Crock-Pot

Stir to mix beef ribs with onion rings (be sure onions are under beef ribs – not on top).

Cover and cook on low setting for 8 – 12 hours

If gravy is desired, make a smooth paste of flour and water.

Turn Crock-Pot to High setting and stir in paste.

Cover an d cook until gravy is thickened.
