Homemade Jam

Ingredients

  1. mash 1 qt. strawberries. Measure 2 c into bowl. Stir in 4 c. sugar. Let stand

  2. 10 min.

  3. Bring 3/4 c water and 1 box sure-jell fruit pectin to boil in saucepan, stirring

  4. constantly. Continue boiling and stirring for 1 min.

  5. Stir pectin mixture into fruit mixture. Stir 3 min. or until sugar is

  6. completely dissolved.

  7. Fill freezer containers with jam, seal, and freeze for up to 1 year.
