Taco Mac & Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/3 cup TACO BELLĀ® HOME ORIGINALSĀ® Thick 'N Chunky Salsa
  • 1-1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 2 cups (8 oz.) elbow macaroni, uncooked
  • 1/2 lb. (8 oz.) VELVEETA Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product, cut up

Directions

  1. BROWN meat in large skillet on medium-high heat; drain.

  2. STIR in 2-3/4 cups water, salsa and chili powder. Bring to boil. Stir in macaroni; cover. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 8 to 10 minutes or until water is almost absorbed.

  3. ADD VELVEETA; cook until melted, stirring frequently. Garnish with 1/2 cup crushed tortilla chips, 1/4 cup chopped tomato and 2 Tbsp. chopped green onion, if desired.
