Pork Chop Supper

Good when cooked with wine and worstecheshire sauce, although this modifies mom’s recipe slightly.

Serves 4 peopleIngredients
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 3 port butt chops
- 2-1/4 cup beef broth
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 4 potatoes, 1/" slices
- 8 carrots, chopped
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1 Tbsp parsley
- Optional:
- substitue 1/2 water with 1/2 red wine
- Worstecheshire sauce
Directions

Heat oil and cook chops for 4 minutes each side until browned.

Spoon off all but 3 Tbsp of oil.

Add remaining ingredients.

Cover and cook low 35 minutes.
