Ingredients
- Batter:
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup chopped rhubarb
- 1 Tbsp flour
- Topping:
- 1/8 cup butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Directions

Cream butter and sugar.

Beat in egg and vanilla.

Sift together flour, soda and salt.

Mix dry mixture into butter mixture alternatively with buttermilk (3 dry, 2 wet).

Toss rhubarb with flour and add.

Blend topping ingredients together and sprinkle over batter in 13 × 9″ pan.

Bake 350 F for 35-45 minutes.
