Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground lamb
- 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 large onion, quartered
- 2 large carrots, thinly sliced
- 1 green pepper, cut in bite-size chunks
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1/3 cup strong vegetable or chicken broth
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
Directions

In a medium bowl mix lamb, bread crumbs, egg, garlic and pepper

Form into medium size meatballs.

In large skillet heat oil over medium-high heat and evenly brown meatballs.

Drain off excess fat.

Add onion, carrot and green pepper.

Cook and stir about 5 minutes or until carrot is tender-crisp.

In a small bowl mix sugar, cornstarch, broth, vinegar and soy sauce until smooth.

Stir into meatball mixture and cook stirring constantly until thickened.

Serve over cooked rice.
