Ingredients
- 2 turkey drumsticks
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup mushrooms, chopped
- 1-1/2 cup barley
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Directions

Bake turkey and butter in large uncovered dutch oven for 45 minutes at 350 F and set aside.

Add onion to oven and cook until tender.

Stir in mushrooms and cook 3 minutes.

Add barley and cook until golden, approx. 2 minutes.

Add 1/2 of chicken stock and top with turkey.

Cover and bake at 350 F for 30 minutes.

Add remaining stock, cover and cook 30 minutes longer.
