Ravioli Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 Lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 tsp. onion salt
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil or veg. oil
  • 1 1/2 cups finely chopped onion
  • 1 28 oz. can italian style or plain crushed tomatoes in puree
  • 1 6 0z. can tomato paste
  • 1 14oz. can beef broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1.2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. dried basil
  • 1/4 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 13 oz. pkg. plain ravioli without sauce
  • salt
  • grated parm. cheese

Directions

  1. Cook the ground beef in a large pot until browned, about 15 mins. Drain the fat. Combine remaining ingredients except frozen ravioli and additonal Parmesan cheese. Bring soup to a boil, reduce heat. Cover and simmer 10 minuts, sitrring ocasionally. Cool, put in a containeer and freese.
