red pepper hummus

Ingredients
- 2 cups chickpeas, cooked
- 2-4 Tbsp tahine (to taste)
- 1 lemon, juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 red bell peppers, roasted
- water
- salt
- pepper
- paprika
- cinnamon (just a little bit)
- allspice (we call it "pimenta sÃria", syrian pepper, in brazil. optional)
Directions

put everything on the blender or food processor and turn it on, adding water until the desired consistency. i usually start with 1/4 – 1/2 cup.

serve with pita bread or chips, or use it as a sandwich spread.
