Aunt B’s Chili

This is best with the Pruitt’s homemade tomato juice, but if you don’t have it you can use 28 oz. tomato juice and a can of Rotel and 1/2 yellow or white onion, diced.

Ingredients
- 1 # ground beef or ground turkey (if turkey, add one beef bullion cube), browned and drained
- 1 package William's Chili seasoning (for 2# of meat)
- 1 can each: pinto beans, dark red kidney beans, undrained
- 1 qt. homemade tomato juice (see comment section)
- some water -maybe up to 1 cup, just how juicy do you want your chili or can add a small can of diced tomatoes.
Directions

Combine all ingredients in a large sauce pan and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer at least one hour. OR

You can combine all ingredients in a crockpot and simmer on Low for about 4-6 hours. (Mix up at lunch, ready for supper).

Serve with your favorite toppings. Suggestions: oyster crackers, Colby-Jack cheese, Fritos…
