Prime Rib

Ingredients

  • ROAST
  • Prime ribe roast
  • 2-tsp dried thyme
  • 6 garlic cloves minced
  • AUJUS
  • 1 can french onion soup
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 1 can cold water
  • 1/2-tsp white sugar
  • 2-tsp worchester
  • 1/8-tsp salt

Directions

  1. Let roast stand until room temperature, rub with mixture of thyme and garlic. Place in shallow pan.

  2. Start cooking 3 hours before guests arrive.

  3. Cook roast in oven at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Turn oven off but do not open door. When guests arrive turn heat on 375 degrees (Roast 35 min for rare, 45 min for med)
