Hot bean dish (not spicy HOT)

very tasty – leftovers for lunch—Needs more sauce

Serves 6 people
Ingredients
- 10 oz bacon, cut in pieces (I use turkey bacon)
- 1 LB hamburger, crumbled
- 1 LG onion, chopped
- 1 TBsp dry mustard-fine without
- 2 medium cans pork and beans
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 1 can lima beans
- 1 can butter beans
- 1 TBsp vinegar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

brown bacon. hamburger and onion

Add mustard and simmer

Mix remaining ingredients in large baking dish with meat and onions.

Bake 1 hour

I have also made this in my slow cooker.

I browned the bacon and hamburger, onion first before putting it in the slow cooker
