Heavenly Mint Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 1/2 gallon whole milk
  • 1 jar (13 ounces) chocolate-hazelnut spread
  • 1 cup peppermint-flavored Schnapps or
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • Whipped cream
  • Ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. In a 5 or 6 quart saucepot, heat milk over medium heat 7 to 8 minutes or until it begins to simmer. Reduce heat to low; whisk in hazelnut spread, stirring until melted and smooth. Remove saucepot from heat; stir in Schnapps. To serve, pour hot chocolate into mugs; top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.
