Tiramisu Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 round angel food cake
  • 1 can cold espresso coffee
  • 1/4 cup coffee liqueur
  • 8 ounces reduced fat cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups Dannon Natural Flavors Vanilla Lowfat Yogurt
  • 1/4 cup confectioner's sugar
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted
  • 1 ounce dark sweet chocolate, shaved

Directions

  1. Cut cake with a serrated knife into 3 equal layers and place each on a dinner plate.

  2. combine coffee and liqueur and spoon a third over each layer, set aside to allow cake to absorb the liquid.

  3. Process cream cheese, Dannon Natural Flavors Vanilla Lowfat Yogurt, and sugar in a food processor.

  4. Place bottom layer on a platter.

  5. Cover with 1/4 of the yogurt mixture.

  6. Top with another layer, and repeat process with second and third layers.

  7. Cover outside of cake with remaining yogurt.

  8. Sprinkle almonds on top and sides of cake and refrigerate for an hour or more.

  9. Garnish with shaved chocolate.
