Party Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, divided
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the milk, soup mix and 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well.

  2. With wet hands, shape into 1 inch balls.

  3. Place 1 inch apart in ungreased 15 × 10 × 1 inch baking pans.

  4. Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees for 12 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.

  5. Drain on paper towels.

  6. Meanwhile, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, and remaining Worcestershire sauce in a large saucepan or Dutch oven.

  7. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

  8. Cook and stir until thickened.

  9. Reduce heat; add meatballs.

  10. Simmer until heated through, about 15 minutes.
