Mrs. Tropp’s Cholent

Ingredients
- 5 medium pealed potatos
- 1 cup brown rice
- 1/2 cup barley
- 1/4 cup kidney beans
- 1/2 white navy beans or pinto beans
- 1flanken or california steak
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2+ tsp pepper
- 1 tsp (tbs) garlic powder
- lots paprika
- ketchup or non hickory bbq sauce
Directions

in a 5qt crockpot add ingredient up to flanken.

fill 3/4 of pot with water.

add salt pepper garlic and paprika.

add swirl or two of ketchup.

put on high. before shabbos put to low. must cook on high 5-6 hours.

when making veggie add half package sliced muchrooms 1TBS and 1 tsp of soy sauce, 2 TBS oil. and 1 teaspoon of onion soup mix, also, maybe some extra water and barley.
