Peppermint Twists

Warm up with a refreshing twist, fun to make and delicious to eat.

Ingredients

  • 12 Rhodes™ Dinner Rolls, thawed but still cold
  • 1/2 cup coarsely crushed peppermint candy
  • Icing:
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk

Directions

  1. Cut each roll in half.

  2. Roll each half into an 8-inch rope.
  3. Twist two ropes together.

  4. Pinch ends together and place on a large sprayed baking sheet.

  5. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise 30 minutes.

  6. Remove wrap and bake at 350°F 10-15 minutes.

  7. Combine icing ingredients and brush over warm twists.

  8. Sprinkle with crushed peppermint candy.
