Imitation Chili’s Salsa

I found this recipe somewhere on the internet and the end result is very close to Chili’s Salsa.

Ingredients

  • 1 14 oz. can of tomatoes and green chilis
  • 1 14.5 oz. can of whole peeled tomatoes, not drained
  • 1 Tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon jalepenos, canned and diced
  • 1/4 cup yellow onion, diced
  • 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar

Directions

  1. Place jalepenos and onions in food processor.

  2. Process for just a few seconds.

  3. Add both cans of tomatoes, garlic salt, cumin and sugar.

  4. Process all ingredients until well blended, but do not puree.

  5. Place in airtight container and chill for at least 2 hours.
