JoAnn’s Pot Roast in Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. rump roast
  • 1/2 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 4 oz. can mushrooms with liquid
  • 1/4 cjp red wine
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
  • 2 tbsp. chopped fresh basil or 1 tsp. dried
  • McCormick-Grill Mates Montreal steak seasoning

Directions

  1. Cobine all ingredients except meat and steak seasoning in slow cooker. Add meat and sprinkle with steak seasoning.

  2. Cover and cook in crock pot on LOW for 10-12 hours

  3. You can make gravy from the juices when the roast is done if you wish.
