Grilled Shrimp

Ingredients

  • large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2-4 drops hot sauce or more to taste
  • 1 tbsp. tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp. minced garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Place the shrimp in a shallow bowl. Combine the marinade ingredients and pour over shrimp. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Thread the shrimp on skewers and grill until pink, about 1-3 minutes per side, basting with the marinade. If using wooden skewers soak in water for about 30 minutes before placing shrimp on grill.
